BRand MANAGER
The Brand Manager works closely with the President.EP to foster brand messaging and is on the front line of all media communication as the point person for all PR efforts.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Create and manage a marketing plan encompassing online, editorial, film festival and conference opportunities.
Oversight of website and all social media platforms, including generating and updating content, pitching ideas for new content and responsible for managing implementation of new technologies/platforms.
Working closely with the EP, Directors and Producers, design and create pitch decks for advertising and content project opportunities.
Manage the library database and field all artist requests for reel materials.
Responsible for design and creation of all promotional materials including press releases, studio/talent bios and swag.
Support brand loyalty and encourage user-created content via active social media participation and conversation.
Conduct in-House tours, working across departments to ensure confidentiality of projects in production.
Initiate all Film Festival/Award Show activity and identify opportunities for studio directors and management to participate at festivals and panel discussion.
Promote HouseSpecial and participate in community outreach projects.
Availability to cover pitch needs and PR/community events during day and evening hours.
Required Abilities and Attributes
Four year college degree in related field (media, business, communications, marketing, etc.) or equivalent;
3 years advertising or content production experience or equivalent experience in a substantial sales/marketing capacity;
Highly versed in Macintosh OSX, MS Office, Word, Excel, FileMaker experience; Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, HTML/CSS, Squarespace (or other website building tools) and SEO.
