Snow does something strange to familiar terrain. With white everywhere, the pace slows and life becomes simpler. That is if you aren’t slipping, sliding and falling on your ass, or plummeting foot first into snow banks as slushy ice crystals are shoved into your shoes.
Mt. Hood is pictured above, but the following photos were taken in Sunriver, a resort town located about three hours south from Portland near Bend.
